WHAT IS T•A•P?

Thermal - Unlike Fiberglass, TAP is made of a material that has air-filled cells / voids or heat reflective surfaces which retards the transfer of heat to cold. In other words, the increased density allows heat to transfer better which allows our heating and cooling systems to cycle on and off less often allowing them to last longer. The home will maintain a more uniform temperatures between floors and ceilings, upstairs and down stairs as well as around windows and doors. So...less cycling and uniform temperatures means more money for the homeowner.

Acoustical - TAP insulation also retards the transmission of sound. If used within the walls of a home the increased density will cut out annoying noises such as running appliances, flushing toilets, etc as well as outdoor noises like lawnmowers, traffic and such.
